Finish the sentence. We will show you who handles it.
Scots law is not English law. Tell us what you need and we will show you the firms on our panel that take that kind of work. Every one of them is on the roll of the Law Society of Scotland.
Sending an enquiry does not instruct us to act for you. We will not protect a time limit or take any legal step unless we confirm in writing that we have accepted instructions.
Three steps. No cost, no obligation.
Our panel is not the whole Scottish profession. You are never required to use a firm we introduce you to, you may approach any solicitor in Scotland directly, and in many matters you may act for yourself.
Tell us what you need
Finish the sentence at the top of the page. A few short questions establish the area of law and where in Scotland you are. No forms, nothing to download.
See who handles it
We show you the panel firms that take that kind of work, where they are based, and their Law Society of Scotland registration number, so you can check them yourself.
You choose, they call
You decide who receives your enquiry. They undertake to attempt contact within 24 hours during office hours — and we ask you afterwards whether they actually did.
From Stranraer to Shetland.
Scots law applies wherever you are, but the sheriff court that hears your case, and the firms that practise in front of it, do not. We route by where you are and by which law applies — not by whoever paid the most this month.
- Every firm verified on the Law Society roll before listing
- Response times measured from both sides, not self-reported
- Published fees shown where a firm publishes them, and marked where it does not
Most legal websites are written for England.
If a site is telling you about probate, county courts or injunctions, it is not describing your position. The differences are not cosmetic.
Every area of Scots law, as each panel is built.
We list a category only once we have solicitors ready to take the work. Where a panel is still being built, we say so rather than passing you to whoever will pay.
We do not rank solicitors, score them or tell you one is better than another. We tell you who is qualified, who is available, and what they charge — and then we get out of the way.
Our editorial position, in full
Nothing up front. You pay when you get the work.
We are a Scottish solicitors’ practice. Where an enquiry is not work we do ourselves, we refer it to a firm on our panel on a fee-sharing basis, and we are paid only on cases you accept.
- No subscription, no monthly fee, no volume commitment
- Nothing payable on enquiries you decline
- Non-poaching commitment — we refer the case, not your client
- Structured handover, routed within seconds

Sheriff courts, health boards and the pattern of legal work all differ across Scotland. These pages set out what is local to you — and say plainly where being local does not actually matter.
Written for Scotland, not adapted from England.
Most legal information online is written for England and Wales, and a good deal of it is simply wrong here. Ours is not, and every guide is reviewed and dated by a Scottish solicitor.

Two minutes, no cost, and no obligation. We will show you the Scottish firms that handle your type of case, and you decide whether to send anything at all.
