How do I find a lawyer?

It couldn’t be simpler. Let us have brief details of your case and provide us with your contact information and we will forward the details to a member of our panel who specialises in your area of the law. They will then contact you at the earliest opportunity.

Do I really need a lawyer?

This is a really good question. It depends on how serious the matter is and whether you could sort out yourself. If the problem is minor you might not need a lawyer and you would save on fees. But if something serious has happened, such as you have lost your job, been injured in an accident, split up from your spouse or been charged by the police you do need a lawyer And an expert one at that.

Once I have given my details how long will it be before the lawyer gets in touch?

As with any profession response times can vary from solicitor to solicitor depending on their own internal standards and their current workload. That said, it is very much in their interest to contact you as soon as possible as they would not wish to lose you as a client. We encourage panel solicitors to get in touch with our referrals as soon as they can

Is ’legal aid’ available?

If you think you would be eligible for legal aid please let us know when you are providing the details of your case. We know which of our panel solicitors engage in legal aid work and we will only pass on your details to a solicitor who is experienced in legal aid cases.

How much will it cost?

This is a really important question as you have to be able to afford the legal services you are seeking. The specialist lawyers on our panel have different rates. When they contact you to discuss your case they will advise you how much the charges will be.

Can I get free advice from a lawyer?

This varies amongst legal firms. Some of our panel members do provide free consultations. When they contact you to discuss your case this is something you should ask.

Do I have to pay you anything?

We do not charge you anything for referring your case to one of our panel members.

We will receive a referral fee from our recommended firm.
