Using the site does not instruct us

Sending an enquiry does not instruct Rooney Family Law Limited to act as your solicitor in the underlying matter. We will not protect a time limit, raise proceedings or take any other step for you unless we confirm separately and in writing that we have accepted instructions.

About the panel

Firms listed here are those with which we have a commercial arrangement. The panel is not the whole Scottish profession. We do not rank firms, we do not warrant the quality of any firm’s work, and any contract for legal services is between you and that firm.

How we are paid

The service is free to you. Where we introduce you to a panel firm, that firm may pay us a share of its fee. The payment is made by the firm, does not increase what you pay and does not reduce any compensation you receive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
